MediStays Short Term Accommodation (STA) packages support you to experience a short break for respite at Mirage Whitsundays. You can also stay with your carers and try new things on a short break related to your disability.

MediStays provides you with trusted and secure accommodation at this property. Simply arrive with your personal items, and we provide a private, peaceful and fully furnished place to stay.

If you need assistive technology, please inform us of your individual requirements. We will assist you to ensure everything is in place and ready for your arrival.

Keen to increase your independence and engage in community? You can arrange your own meals or enjoy meals onsite to try living independently.

NDIS STA is perfect if you are needing to live out of home for a short period. MediStays provides you with trusted accommodation, giving you a chance to try new things. You can book this accommodation to give your informal supports a break, or you can stay together. At MediStays, we provide flexibility for you to arrange informal or formal supports to meet your individual needs.

Looking for new experiences or activities nearby? Try something new during your NDIS STA stay with MediStays. Visit local attractions, parks and gardens. During your stay you can also enjoy full access to wi-fi and streamed entertainment.

Under the NDIS Guidelines, your MediStays STA can be booked for your chosen length of stay, usually up to 14 days at a time. Funding may be used from your Core Budget if it helps you to achieve your goals. For questions about your funding and approval, please contact your NDIS Support Coordinator or LAC.
