We’re attending ATE23 and would love to meet you there.

MediStays is excited to announce we will be attending the 43rd edition of the Australian tourism industry’s largest annual business-to-business event, the Australian Tourism Exchange (ATE23).

Hosted in partnership with Tourism and Events Queensland and supported by Destination Gold Coast, supporting partners also include MediStays own accommodation partners of over three years: Event Hospitality & Entertainment, InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), and Minor Hotels.

Bringing together businesses supporting Australian tourism, the event attendees will include around 1,500 Australian seller delegates and 650 buyer delegates from over 30 countries.

Speak with our Accommodation Partnerships Team

Our Head of Accommodation Partnerships Meighan Murphy, Revenue Manager for Accommodation Partnerships Tahlia Carey and Co-Founder and DOO Craig Everitt will be attending as our MediStays representatives.

A key feature of ATE23 is the opportunity to conduct scheduled business appointments and participate in key networking events. Last year’s event saw a total of over 38,000 appointments facilitated.

Our team will be catching up with existing partners to share updates, enhancements and new opportunities within the MediStays network. We are also looking forward to meeting new suppliers, to learn more about how we may align to support the MediStays Network.

MediStays Head of Accommodation Partnerships, Meighan Murphy shares:

We are a team of specialists who effectively manage and protect your rates. This creates a trustworthy, long-term partnership that ensures risk-free rate distribution.

My role at ATE will draw on my extensive industry experience to understand and maximise partnership opportunities.

MediStays takes a very collaborative approach with our suppliers to ensure the best outcomes for our mutual guests.”

Meighan and Tahlia have back-to-back appointment slots across all four days. While those appointment slots are filling up, there is still time to book your own 1:1 chat with our Accommodation team.

The benefits of partnering with MediStays

Partnering with Medistays connects properties to a new, year-round referral network with guaranteed payments. And bookings via our constant referral stream are not impacted by pandemic, global, weather or financial events. So we partner as a consistent source of revenue and production for your property.

MediStays also presents a unique opportunity for accommodation suppliers to make a positive impact on the lives of Australian and inbound medical travellers.

By partnering with us, accommodation suppliers are supporting medical travellers at some of the most vulnerable times of their lives. They need trusted accommodation with properties aligned to the values of MediStays.

Through our partnership, MediStays enables properties to align their business to achieve impactful CSR, social impact and governance.

Currently, MediStays is seeking two property types:

  • Hotels and apartments close to hospitals and medical clinics
  • Properties to accommodate wheelchair users Australia-wide

If MediStays may align with your property’s needs, please reach out to Meighan to secure an appointment at ATE23. Whether you are a small hotel operator, or represent a global chain, we would love to hear from you.
